SMALL ANIMAL VET

We are looking for an additional vet to join our current team of 8 vets including a Cert AVP in Dermatology. We are looking for a PT vet to work 2 or 3 days per week at our Kidderminster branch.

Established over 80 years, we are an independent, 2 surgery, patient focused practice with an emphasis on clinical freedom and case continuity. Both surgeries are well equipped and offer a varied case load with an equal share of operating and consulting time. We have a collaborative approach to patient care and take the time to discuss cases.

We have all the standard equipment such as digital x-ray (including dental), ECG, ultrasound, endoscope, bronchoscope, microscope for use in consultations, newly equipped laboratory where we now run an extensive range of in-house tests.

Our fantastic nurse team of 13 experienced, friendly RVNs plus 3 SVNs support the vets in their clinical work allowing the vets to concentrate on providing optimum veterinary care.

Work-life balance is important to us with the full-time vets working on average 32 hours per week over 4 days. Saturday mornings 9am-1pm are only 1 in 4, these are well managed to prioritise the ‘need to be seen’ clients with pre-booking under the control of the vets.

Our consultation slots are 15 min duration as standard, and the diary is structured to allow both breaks and effective work ups and to (almost) always leave on time!

• Salary to £68,000 FTE dependent on experience
•  £1,000 CPD budget and 5 paid days although this is flexible
