Vets for Pets in Beckenham is due to open its doors on the 4th October 2024 and we’d love for a vet with some experience to join us and help build our new practice into something great.

Our wonderful Head Vet and Practice Owner, Dzuni graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2017 and having been based at our Charlton branch as a senior surgeon for the past 4 years, is now ready for her next challenge.

She says, ‘I am thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with the Beckenham Community as a passionate small animal veterinarian. I am eager to lead a team of exceptional professionals who not only bring great expertise but also share a deep respect and compassion for pets. My vision is to establish an “open door” approach in our practice, prioritizing the vet-pet-client relationship to ensure the highest standard of patient care. While I enjoy a thorough medical work-up, surgery remains my first love. I also have a strong interest in ultrasound imaging. I am excited to work alongside experienced colleagues and to mentor budding veterinarians. I look forward to meeting all the paws and tails of Beckenham.’

Alongside Dzuni, comes RVN Amy who is also coming across from the same practice. “After working with Dzuni for the past couple of years, I’ve seen firsthand her dedication and vision for veterinary care. I’m excited to join her at the new Beckenham practice and look forward to embarking on this new venture. It’s a brilliant opportunity to continue providing excellent care to our patients and to be part of something truly special”.

The team is excited to get installed in their brand-new, modern, purpose-built practice which will house 3 consulting rooms, separate cat and dog waiting areas and kennels, a spacious staff room, an in-house lab, a digital x-ray unit as well as an ultrasound machine and a dental x-ray.  

Whether you are still finding your feet in the profession or you have years of experience, we’d love to hear from you. As we are just getting started there is room for flexibility in our rota and we are more than happy to chat about part-time hours.

• A salary of £40,000 - £60,000
• 5.6 weeks holiday (including bank holidays) which increases to 6.6 weeks after 2 years with us
