About the role
The 7 on 14 off rotation could be ideal for a vet with a thirst for travel (Heathrow airport is a 30-minute drive away) or if you wished to live abroad and come back to complete your shifts.
This night role would be ideal for a vet who is confident with sole charge and thrives in the ECC environment. You will be fully supported each night with an experienced RVN to help provide the highest standard of care for your patients.
Mandeville Veterinary Hospital and its surrounding clinics provide an excellent first opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral service and work to the highest clinical standards. As a result, you will have the opportunity to treat a wide range of patients and conditions.
There is state of the art diagnostic support at the hospital with a new CT scanner, a diploma holder in imaging providing our CT and ultrasound service, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery during the day. Although a night role, you would have all these fantastic colleagues to reach out to if you had any queries.
About us
In 2022, we celebrated our 70th anniversary and now have 46 branches, three hospitals and our own nurse training college. We value all of our colleagues, and our forward-looking approach means we have introduced a Colleague Forum to listen to our peers’ views, as well as monthly Town Hall meetings with our board of directors communicating real time updates and taking polls with live Q&As to ensure we're making the right, collaborative decisions for our people. All our senior managers are mental health first aid trained and we offer Wellness plans for all new starters.

Company
Goddard Veterinary Group offers opportunities to all levels of talent within the veterinary industry — we care for our people as much as we do for our pets. If you are a strong team player looking to share our philosophy of practising to the highest clinical standards and providing excellent client care, then why not get in touch? Goddard Veterinary Group was born in 1952 and since then we have grown our business across London with 44 neighbourhood practices, three 24-hour hospitals, our own nursing college, and expanding contact centre.
We have a great reputation for looking after our staff; over 20% of our team have been with us for 10 years or more and we are proud of our many 5-star employee reviews on Indeed.
