Job Details
If you are a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a friendly and supportive working environment, then come and join us at Drumchapel Vets for Pets!
Our practice is growing and you’ll be joining a hard-working and inclusive team who are passionate about being at the heart of the local community. Our practice provides excellent facilities giving you access to all the equipment and space you need to care for your patients.
This is a full-time role with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. No Sundays or OOHs to encourage a good work/life balance.
Along with a competitive salary of up to £35,000 dependant on experience, we offer all the standard benefits you’d expect from a major employer (pension, healthcare, paid memberships etc.) plus a few more, such as excellent career progression, exclusive lifestyle and shopping discounts (up to 20% off at Pets at Home).
You should have good experience of veterinary nursing with a genuine interest in animal welfare, enjoying the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike. Excellent customer service and communication skills are also needed. Our nurses are veterinary professionals and as such we ensure that they are able to fulfil their clinical potential.
We are in a great location on the Great Western Retail Park with ample parking and great access to local amenities, for those important lunch breaks! Drumchapel is a fantastic place to be however you spend your free time, with being on the edge of the city of Glasgow; one of the most exciting, friendly and culturally vibrant cities. Or if you prefer the peace and tranquillity of nature at its finest, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park are a short drive away; great for walking, cycling, climbing and sailing.

Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
