Flexibility that works for you

This is a Full-time or Part-Time position. Our full-time Vets typically work a 40-hour week across 4 days with a mix of earlies, (starting at 7:30am) and late shifts, (starting at 11:00am). Weekends are 1:4 and there is a second on-call cover for occasional nights.

Join an exceptional practice

We are an ISFM Gold accredited and RWAF Gold Hospital based in Foots Cray within the London Borough of Bexley. We offer 24/7 care to our loyal clients, and we have a large enthusiastic and friendly team. We also have an extensive lab, staffed by bio-medical professionals experienced in supporting the vet team.

Our supportive team

You will be joining a talented team of vets and nurses as well as admin and supporting team members. You will be working alongside several certificate holders in various disciplines, (Imaging, Medicine, Surgery, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Exotics, Dentistry) and you will have plenty of opportunity to develop skills and knowledge - both formally through CPD and informally through case collaboration.

Company

You would be forgiven for thinking that all veterinary practices are alike - after all every vet wants the very best for their patients - but the variation in service levels is as extensive in the veterinary world as it is in any other profession.

Parkvets is an accredited Tier 3 practice with all the facilities and equipment that would imply.  We manage the vast majority of our cases in-house without the need for expensive and inconvenient referral and we operate our own out-of-hours service.

To achieve this we have a team of 16 vets supported by more than 20 nurses - most of whom are fully qualified - who tend our in-patients morning, noon and night.  And our vets have over 90 years of cumluative experience, so there is not much we haven't seen.
