Are you an experienced RVN or a newly/ about to be qualified Nurse looking for a new and exciting challenge? Do you want to experience all aspects of Veterinary Nursing under one roof?

The University of Glasgow is seeking to appoint a Veterinary Nurse within the School of Biodiversity, One Health and Veterinary Medicine.

 The Small Animal Hospital is looking for a dedicated nurse to join our ever-expanding hospital team. The role will suit a motivated individual looking to utilise their clinical skills to deliver exceptional nursing care to patients.  The appointed candidate will provide a focus between clients, veterinary surgeons, nursing staff and students. Carry out nursing duties to the highest standard

 Rotations will include surgical, medical & feline wards, theatre complex (including anaesthesia), oncology, ICU and working alongside our clinicians & nurses in the receiving services (Surgery, Neurology and Internal Medicine). Working week is Monday-Friday 35hrs per week weekends 1 in 4 with days off for this. Participation on the Bank Holiday rota is required (additional payment given).

This post is full time. This post is a cover maternity leave for up to 12 months or until the substantive postholder returns.
