In our veterinary practice you are given a ‘station’ for the day. This will be either on kennels, theatre, prep or consultations.

Kennel shifts involve managing a diverse inpatient caseload where you'll devise and implement tailored care plans for each patient. Our nurses are pivotal in overseeing the care of hospitalised animals and their recovery post-procedures, taking on a significant leadership role in inpatient care.

On the theatre shift you will be monitoring general anaesthetics and assisting our skilled veterinary surgeons during operations, ranging from routine neutering to complex soft tissue, orthopaedic and ophthalmic surgeries. Our team benefits from the expertise of a visiting peripatetic surgeon also.

On the prep shifts you'll engage in a variety of tasks, including theatre circulating, aiding in consultations and kennel care, processing lab samples, and organizing surgical kits.

During consultations you will directly interact with our valued clients and their pets, providing a broad spectrum of services such as weight checks, medication administration, post-operative assessments and much more. This role also involves managing stock orders to uphold the seamless operation of our practice.
