Job Details

We have an exciting opportunity for a vet to join our growing team at Wycombe Marsh Vets4Pets paying up to £70,000.

You will have access to all of the excellent facilities including an operating theatre, X-ray machine, ultrasound and dental machine, as well as the support of an established and welcoming team, keen to nurture your skills and help you develop and grow with the business.

You will be joining a team of 19, made up of 4 vets, 3 RVN’s, 2 SVN’s, 4 VCA’s, 4 receptionists, practice manager and assistant practice manager.

They are led by Julia Fry, who qualified in 1991 from RVC, and has been exclusively a small animal vet for many years. They pride themselves on being a close team who place a strong emphasis on team empathy.

We offer longer than average sick animal consultation slots to enable comprehensive work-up without excessive time pressure. Each vet has a day allocated to surgery so you can follow through cases.

The role is flexible and we can consider either full or part-time hours. Our vet team work varying patterns contributing to a 7-day schedule and this schedule can be agreed to be mutually advantageous for both parties.

As we are open 7 days a week, we would like someone who can contribute to a weekend schedule, however this can be discussed at interview stage.

In return for your dedication and high quality work, we can offer:
  • Competitive salary up to 70k FTE dependent on your experience and contribution to unsociable hours (weekends/evenings)
  • CPD allowance and support
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Free parking
  • Paid memberships (RCVS, BVNA, etc)
  • Exclusive company discounts and rewards including 20% off at Vets4Pets, Pets at Home and the Groom Room

If you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service and would like to join the most supportive, friendliest team that anyone’s been part of, we would love to hear from you.

If you’d like more information please feel free to email
