Job Details

Vets4Pets Droitwich is growing nicely so we are looking for an additional vet who enjoys high clinical standards and likes to work up their cases in a non-pressured environment.

We have a genuine emphasis on flexibility and wellbeing hence we are closed Sundays and only work Saturday mornings (on a rota) with no OOH.

We have time set aside for breaks and notes and finish at 6PM.

The practice owner Victoria is an experienced vet who also has horses and a small child so understands the challenges of being a ‘working vet mum’ and having a life outside of work.

With this in mind we are offering the right candidate a flexible rota with flexible hours that will suit you!

Salary up to £80,000 for an experienced vet plus all the other perks below.
  • 5.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays, (increasing after 2 years’ service)
  • Private Health Care
  • Life Assurance 4 x Annual Salary
  • Contributory Pension Scheme
  • Paid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS)
  • Dedicated CPD allowance
  • Funding and support towards Certificates available
  • Career progression
  • No OOH
  • Relocation allowance
  • Fully funded Sponsorship/Visa
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Access to Colleague Assistance Programmes - Retail Trust, Port of Call and MHFA
  • Exclusive company discounts and rewards - including 20% off at Pets at Home, The Groom Room and Vet Group

As this is a growing practice you will have the opportunity to pursue your own veterinary passions which would be supported and encouraged.

We’re also proud to be a cat friendly clinic, with a silver ISFM status; equipped with everything you would expect from a small animal GP practice at the heart of the local community which is ideally located in the wonderful town of Droitwich spa, less than half an hour from Birmingham airport and with the Cotswolds right around the corner.

We want our colleagues to be as diverse as our clients. Our teams are inclusive and celebrate difference so if you meet our role requirements, we’d love to hear from you.

Any questions please feel free to contact Leah on 01905 792300 /

Location: WR9 9AY

Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
