Are you ready to advance in your career but are not quite ready for a CD role, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Due to our two long-term Vets retiring, we are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon or Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join our established practice. Whilst we build the team to 3 Vets, you will initially be in sole charge however you will have the support of an experienced CD from a neighbouring practice. You will also be supported by our friendly team of RVNs (one is working towards Emergency and Critical care cert), a Practice Manager (certificate in Feline Nursing) and a brilliant reception team. Typically, the full-time position is 40 hours per week over 4 days with 1:4 Saturday morning (9am-1pm). We would also welcome part-time applicants, for example, 1-3 days per week with 1in8 Saturday mornings. There is no OOH.

The original practice at New Inn was opened in August 1989 by Richard Smith as a solo practitioner. A year later, he was joined by Valerie Clare who later went on to become a partner in the practice. In 1997, we established the Fairwater surgery, which had much-needed space to expand our service.
