North Downs Specialist Referrals are looking for a specialist in Diagnostic Imaging (RCVS, European or American board certified (or board eligible) to join our team.
We understand the importance of professional and personal balance, and are supportive of candidates considering either part of full-time positions in both flexible hybrid roles or hospital based positions.
We would also actively consider candidates interested in an exclusively remote position.
Support would be available for candidate’s due to sit the upcoming board examinations. In addition, candidate’s considering post residency positions within the next 12 months are encouraged to contact us if they would like an informal discussion on a future position. About us
Our imaging facilities currently include a dedicated imaging suite with Toshiba 1.5T MRI and CT, Philips Epiq 5 Ultrasound, Phillips BV Endura C arm, and digital radiography. All imaging modalities are linked to our Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS). The diagnostic imaging team is supported by 4 radiographers (3 advanced imaging, and 1 sonographer).
We have a large, varied and interesting caseload providing imaging support for 30 Specialists in orthopaedic, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, anaesthesia, dentistry and dermatology. We also have a growing interventional radiology caseload. We prioritise and understand the importance of a friendly working environment, and good interdepartmental relationships. Interests in involvement in training of discipline specific intern/residents, and/or research would be encouraged and supported, although optional. Benefits
