Lecturer in Comparative Animal Nutrition (Research & Teaching Track)

Salary: Grade 7/8, £39,347 - £44,263/£48,350 - £56,021 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Lecturer in Comparative Animal Nutrition to carry out high-quality research in the area of, or allied with, animal/fish/avian nutrition, to develop a portfolio of external funding, and to supervise research students and staff. You will support the delivery of animal/fish/avian nutrition teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students. The areas of teaching and assessment will include but not be limited to comparative nutrition, metabolism/metabolomics/microbiome, and animal production systems. 

We welcome applications from candidates who hold a PhD or equivalent clinical/research training in a relevant subject area and have relevant research experience.

Veterinary Medicine has been rated 1st in the UK Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide. It has an excellent international reputation in teaching, clinical services and research and is accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), the European Association of Establishments of Veterinary Education (EAEVE) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
