We are looking for an RVN to join our supportive and forward thinking team at the UK’s leading regenerative medicine and rehabilitation clinic. We pride ourselves on being a hard-working collaborative team where all team members are valued. Our RVN's thrive in our clinic as they are able to build and develop their skills in all areas of the clinic with a special attentiveness to radiography as this is a nurse led service.
We have been doing regenerative medicine at Greenside for 10 years, recently producing a scientific paper to support the work we do. We have an interest in evidence based medicine, strive to provide clinical excellence as well as continuing to work on research and development with in the regenerative medicine field. Our patients needs are at the centre of everything we do, often this requires taking into consideration a variety of medical conditions alongside the reason for their referral to us, meaning we see an interesting and varied caseload. The service provided is also very inclusive of the client, as many of our patients suffer with osteoarthritis, a life long condition we provide help and support through the pets entire life. This means we know our clients well and build up a great repour. As many clients bring their pets from all over the UK, it is rewarding to be able to go the extra mile to make the experience as fulfilling as possible. No previous experience or knowledge in regenerative medicine is expected as all training will be provided in-house.
This is a new role to help keep up with demand of our ever growing service, the successful candidate will be joining our friendly and supportive nursing team which is made up of 3 RVNs, 2 apprentice SVNs and PCA.
At Greenside we are committed to individual career advancement, including support clinical skills development in all areas of interest, we have access to a huge bank of Linnaeus CPD including the AVA accredited Anaesthesia, RECOVER, ECC and Leadership Development.
This will be a great position for an experienced nurse looking to be at the fore front of a new and exciting field of veterinary medicine. This position involves a 40-hour, five day week, with the option for on call if interested. Greenside Vets is a mixed practice with a solid farm base and an ever-expanding quality companion animal component. There is no requirement to be involved in large animal work. Our main site is well equipped including; DR x-ray, new ultrasound, dental x-ray, bronchoscopy, gastroscopy, and multi-parameters. We have a growing orthopaedic caseload and perform some advanced soft tissue procedures in-house too. Our purpose-built rehabilitation and stem cell referral clinic includes a hydrotherapy underwater treadmill and qualified veterinary physiotherapists within the team. This is the only one of its kind in Scotland and presents a huge opportunity to our clients and their pets.
