About Us

North Weald Vets are a well-established local small animal first-opinion veterinary practice. We have excellent facilities such as an Idexx lab suite, digital x-rays, ultrasound facilities, and dental equipment. We also have separate dog and cat wards.

The practice is close to Epping station which provides easy access into London but still maintains a village feel with lots of green space locally.

About the Team and Culture

Our team currently consists of 5 veterinary surgeons (one of whom will be replaced by the successful candidate), 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 2 receptionists.
We have a visiting medicine specialist who assists with more in-depth ultrasound and endoscopy so that these cases can be kept in-house. Our new team member will complement our existing friendly team.

We are a small, dedicated and very friendly team of vets and nurses who have been providing veterinary care in the area for nearly 10 years.

The surgery was founded in 2004 by Anil Nathan, successful Veterinary Surgeon and Principal of the practice.

Since then North Weald Vets has steadily grown to become a very busy practice whilst maintaining a caring attitude towards its patients and their owners.

Our staff are always keen to offer the best and most up to date advice and therapy for our clients.

Our aim is to provide a caring and quality veterinary service dedicated to the needs of our patients throughout all stages of their lives.

We are experienced general practitioners, but also have our own areas of special interest, such as Ophthalmology, Soft Tissue surgeries and Diagnostic Imaging. We also have strong links with several specialist referral centres, should the need arise for very complicated surgical or medical cases, so we can lead you towards the right choice for your pet's well-being.
