HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

Qatar Veterinary Center is a New Zealand family run business. When Dr. Paul Hensen, an experienced and skilled veterinarian, heard that there were no western-standard veterinary clinics in Qatar, he knew that this is what his legacy would be. Dr. Paul started from scratch helping the pets of Qatar from the back of his car. His skill soon became renowned and the clinic graduated from his car into his home kitchen.
It was a very proud day when Qatar Veterinary Center was officially established in 2003 at our first location in Fereej Kulaib. We further expanded over the last 17 years, and now have two veterinary clinics with beautiful facilities in Al Aziziya and Duhail. From humble beginnings we slowly grew from a family of 4 to 64, with each member now helping us fulfil Dr. Paul's dream of providing the best western standard veterinary care in Qatar. Though our founder Dr. Paul Hensen sadly passed away, his family continues to ensure that his legacy of providing cutting edge veterinary care lives on through Qatar Veterinary Center.
