About us History of the practice

The Practice opened its doors in 1992 under the ownership of Susan Carter in a converted and extended bungalow which has been on the property since the mid 1950's. The practice grew into a busy first opinion small animal practice and after thirteen years as practice principal Susan sold the practice to Matthew and Joanne Harrison in January 2005. Under the current ownership the practice has been further extended and during 2008 the practice was fully modernised to provide state of the art facilities and equipment whilst aiming to provide a friendly and professional service to every client who walks through the door.

Continuing professional development

To enable us to provide a professional service every member of the team is required to undertake on-going training and job specific updates.

Training practice

The Brook Veterinary Surgery is a RCVS recognised training practice. This means that we can take on student nurses and, in conjunction with Warwickshire College, help them attain NVQ level 2 & 3 in veterinary nursing.

Trained nursing staff available 24 hours a day

Whilst most of our nurses are qualified and Registered Veterinary Nurses and appear on the  non statutory register of veterinary nurses maintained by the RCVS, we are a training practice and may also have some un-qualified nurses who are working towards the qualification.
