Wright & Morten is a high quality veterinary practice based in Macclesfield, Cheshire.  From our roots as a mixed species practice, we now operate as three separate dedicated divisions – pets, farm animals and equines.  This allows us to have three specialised teams of vets, each only dealing with their chosen species.

Located in central Macclesfield, our Royal College Approved Veterinary Hospital provides a facility for the care of patients requiring medical investigations and surgical procedures as well as general care for pets of all ages.  We also have two branch surgeries both with operating and day care patient facilities in Wilmslow and Congleton.

Our Farm animal practice office is centred in Lower Withington, Macclesfield.  From here, our specialised farm vets cover a range of dairy, beef and sheep work from the Cheshire Plains to the Derbyshire Hills, with consultancy work further afield.

Our equine clinic is at Somerford Park, Congleton.  Here we have in-patient and full surgical facilities.  Our equine only vets cover a large range of areas from Macclesfield, Congleton and Wilmslow to Stockport, Greater Manchester, Marple, New Mills, Leek and Buxton, where routine work can be carried out on yards. Routine  health checks, vaccinations & dentistry work can be carried out on yards with suitable facilities, and cases requiring greater investigation may be admitted to the equine clinic.

We attained “Investors in People” status in 1999, and have recently passed our 2011 assessment.  We are a RCVS accredited Tier 3 Small Animal Hospital, Tier 2 Equine clinic and Tier 2 Farm Animal Practice.
