We are a professional, caring, friendly team of 8 veterinary surgeons, 10 registered veterinary nurses, 3 trainee veterinary nurses and 11 support staff. Our aim is to provide the best possible care for your pets. All of our vets do 'general practice' work, but also have further interests in more specific areas. Four have taken this interest further, and gained qualifications beyond their veterinary degree in these subject areas (called RCVS certificates):

  • Matt Ingram has a certificate in Small Animal Surgery. This means he handles the more demanding and complicated surgical procedures.
  • Carole Hopkinson has a certificate in Dermatology. She deals with the more challenging skin cases Babs Ingram has a certificate in Cardiology, and she deals with the cardiology (heart disease) caseload.
  • Victoria Lilley has a certificate in Small Animal Medicine, and she is involved with the more challenging medical cases in the practice Nick Pine's main areas of interest are medical cases, abdominal ultrasound scanning and endoscopy.
  • Helen Ozelton is currently doing an RCVS certificate in medicine. Claire Bush has a keen interest in rabbits, and Ellie Whitehead has a special interest in surgical cases and guinea pigs!

We are very proud of our dedicated, highly qualified nursing team, lead by head nurse Helen Howard. The nurses do a variety of clinics, including weight watchers and junior health checks.

The practice is a nurse training centre. We have 2 nurses with teaching qualifications who help teach trainee nurses up to qualification as registered veterinary nurses.
