Broughton Veterinary Group

About Broughton Veterinary Group

The practice in it’s current format has been in operation on the existing sites at Broughton Astley and Lutterworth since 2003, headed by the vets Tom Mitchell, Helen Robinson and Belinda McGrane.

Prior to this, the practice had been established for over 20 years under the previous ownership of, Messrs Gooch, Baldwin & Orbell.  Tom, Helen and Belinda took over the running of the practice on the retirement of the previous owner Brian Orbell.

We remain a mixed veterinary practice, treating both small animals and farm animals (but not equine).

Mixed Practice
All the staff at BVG aim to provide professional, high quality healthcare for our patients, in a caring & relaxed environment, & an excellent value-for-money service for our clients.

We are open Mondays to Fridays (and Saturday mornings), & we provide a 24 hour emergency cover from within our own workforce, giving you the peace of mind that comes with continuity of care (go to “Surgery Hours” for appointment times).

In addition to the day to day healthcare of your pets, including booster vaccinations, neutering, dentals, and emergency surgery, we perform x-rays and ultrasound scans, & have in house laboratory facilities.

Our nurses are available throughout the day for advice on flea and worming treatments, diet and exercise requirements, & we encourage clients to pop in to weigh their pets on a regular basis in an aid to weight management.

Practice Location
We are ideally situated for easy access for the local residents of Broughton Astley, Lutterworth and surrounding villages, as well as for our local farming community.

We provide our farm clients with routine veterinary care through to emergency visits for a variety of farm species.  Farm work is organised through our Lutterworth branch, & we have good lines of communication through farmers meetings, newsletters, telephone and e-mail to keep up to date with current rural affairs.  Again, we provide an in-house 24 hour emergency cover  for our farmers.

If you require any help and advice about the care and welfare of your pet or stock then simply give us a call, or visit one of our practices for further information.

We invite you to find out more about us & the services we provide by exploring our website.
