About Bentley Road Veterinary Surgery
Bentley Vets is accredited under Tier 2 of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme. This is a voluntary scheme, and is aimed at practices wishing to attain very high standards.
Bentley Vets only employ the best staff to ensure that your pet receives the highest quality of care. Our dedication to clinical excellence is backed by our commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for all staff, ensuring that the most up-to-date treatments are available at the time when your pet needs it most.
Our dedicated receptionists are on hand to make your appointments and deal with any general queries you may have. They are all pet lovers too and are committed to the care and welfare of your pets.
Hospitalisation facilities are provided for the very sick and for those recovering from operations overnight. Our veterinary in-patient facilities are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and comfort and include separate cat and dog wards, together with isolation and intensive care wards. If your pet requires an overnight stay then one of our nursing staff will be on-site all night to ensure their safety and well-being.
Surgery is performed on the premises in our modern operating suite using the most up to date anaesthetic drugs and equipment. Anaesthetised patients are closely monitored by our nursing staff throughout their operation and recovery. They have the back up of vital sign monitoring equipment to ensure patient safety during anaesthesia.
X-rays, ultrasound and other diagnostic procedures are performed using the latest equipment and safety precautions so that we can identify the cause of any problems quickly. This enables Bentley Vets to offer the best possible advice to owners with the aim of returning their pets to good health.
